"Don't try to Jew them"

Texas State Rep, Larry Taylor (R): “At a legislative oversight committee hearing today, I inadvertently used a phrase that many people find offensive."

When pressed to explain what he meant by "many people," Rep. Taylor replied, "Pushy Jews."

That's so offensive. We should change that phrase to "Don't try to Muslim them".

This brings up an interesting theological discussion, Willie. Who’s cheaper: Jews or Muslims?

Larry Taylor's critics accused him of being "racist", but he Jewed them down to "culturally insensitive".

Also, the Think Progress story about this links to another story of theirs, from two years ago, about an even more culturally insensitive event: TX GOP Official Opposes Jewish House Speaker: Christians 'Are the People that Do the Best Jobs'

Once again, everything really is bigger in Texas. (Or is it?)

Niles, thank you for pointing out yet another "Only in Texas" story from the, always excellent, Think Progress. And please be advised that Slashing Tires reserves the right to steal all funny comments. Particularly ones it considers funnier than the original post.

Larry demonstrates what the world already knows...everything is bigger in Tex-ass, especially stupidity!

Shit, I got lots of Jewboy friends, and they do a great job of discriminating and hating on themselves...they don't need no amateur Xtian guilt-monger to school them in self-loathing!

botword for today: quipphyi

Another bad thing: Starting in 2012, Texas gets four more electoral votes than before -- 38 instead of 34.

Why can't they just secede from the Union, already?
